Welcome to our home on the Net! Mount Pleasant Road Baptist Church is a Reformed Baptist Church, upholding the Doctrine of God's Sovereign Grace in the heart of Toronto. Ever since 1909 (read the full history here) God has used many leaders and pastors to preach the whole counsel of God and to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour here at Mount Pleasant Road Baptist Church. We are very grateful to God for the many blessings through the years. The ministry of this church has reached out to many people and we see the multicultural face of the city of Toronto today as a great opportunity to endeavour to preach the gospel to all the nations. We are pleased to see the cross-cultural melting in our church. By the grace of God given to us, and by the power of the Holy Spirit we labour, never lacking in zeal to do our part in the great harvest for the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ by reaching out to our community, to our city, to our province, or country and the Lord willing to the rest of our world (read the statement of faith here).

Central to our spiritual development and growth as a body of Christ is a strong emphasis on prayer, the preaching of the Word, a strong commitment to missions, and the fellowship among the believers which is expressed through various means of grace within the church (to read the full note from the pastor please click here).
