Psalm 145:3-4 "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall command your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts." As an exergue of our history says, in the wisdom and providence of God, a group of believers led by a faithful pastor invested their resources and lives in locating this meeting place in what used to be North Toronto. That generation speaks to us of the mighty acts of God and challenges us to continue our witness to His glory here and in the other areas to which He has moved many who learned to love and serve Him in this church. Whether you are here as a person who is curious about our church life and programs, or someone who is Christian looking for a church to call home, I’d like to extend our warmest welcome and invite you to browse through the many pages of information on here. I am particularly glad to be addressing you as the Pastor of Mount Pleasant Road Baptist Church. I was myself, once a visitor in this city and in this particular church. My family and I have been blessed to be part of this local body of Christ since we moved to Toronto.

Central to our spiritual development and growth as a body of Christ is a strong emphasis on prayer, the preaching of the Word, a strong commitment to missions, and the fellowship among the believers which is expressed through various means of grace within the church. 

 

 

Mount Pleasant Road Baptist Church is a Reformed Baptist Church, holding forth the Word of Life and grace in the heart of Toronto.
